Open Space & Trails
The project will provide a wide range of open spaces, parks, and trails intended to address the recreational needs of residents and visitors to Liberty Groves and to adequately address the project’s water quality and recharge needs. Open spaces will range from large regionally-oriented passive and active parks, neighborhood parks, school-adjacent parks, special use parks, pocket parks, plazas/central greens, and trails.
Open Space Plan
The trail system has been carefully planned to provide connectivity that supports pedestrian-oriented transportation, that encourages outdoor recreation, and that incorporates innovative techniques for on-site water management. The trail system has been designed to link all components of the project area and provide recreational opportunities to residents and visitors alike. In addition to bicycle and pedestrian trails, equestrian trails and/or trail connections may also be provided pending concurrence by the County.
